Greetings!!

It has been ages since I have last posted on here. Life has been like an uncontrolled roller coaster, wild ups and downs, and sudden turns!

But now, things are settling down, and..... AND...... I once again have a garden!!!

It is mostly container gardening, but that actually works better for me, since I am in a power chair 90% of the time.

Right now, I have rugosa rose, Tanabamar Carumba rose, Wild Prairie roses, chard, cayenne, bell peppers, tomato, chives, tri-color sage, orange mint (or apple, cant remember which one I had planted at the old place all those years ago!), wild violets, red geraniums, american mandrake (or May Apples), some lettuces and catnip planted. I hope today to remember to plant my basil seeds. I also have rooting red geraniums, and white lantana. Oh, I have repotted my madagascar dragon palm (which I plan to propagate via air layering soon) and my philadendron, and my aloes. I keep thinking I am forgetting some... lol

It feels so absolutely wonderful to be able to get my hands in the dirt again. It brings such peace and joy to my heart and soul.

Midsummer has just past, my simply celebration of it, was to simply get out in the sun and soak it up as much as possible. Which IS possible since the move, because I can come and go from my house anytime I want to now!! The feeling of independence and freedom is amazing!!

Hubby and I go for wheeled *strolls* daily, sometimes several times a day. Strolling, slowly, we try to ID wild plants during the day, and at night just talk and gaze at the beautiful night sky.

I wish for such happiness and simple comfort for everyone....
